After I installed the new firmware, my downloaded homebrew themes no longer work at all.  Of course I backed up my old files.  But I've tried over and over to copy new themes to the 'a' file in the Res folder, and all I'm stuck with is the basic  blue screen, white graphics & text that the Dingoo came with.  How boring.  Was loving the Windows 7 theme.

I know this has gotta be something simple I'm overlooking to be able to have my themes back... any thoughts here?

My buddy had a similar problem. His problem is that he installed the OFFICIAL FIRMWARE, which doesn't allow for custom themes. Make sure that you install the CUSTOM FIRMWARE.

Here's a link to the custom firmware:

Hope this helps,

PS. If you did install the 1.20 Official Firmware, you are going to have to downgrade to an older firmware first and then upgrade to the new 1.20 CUSTOM FIRMWARE
