pc cannot detect dingoo via usb?
Aaaaaagh............This is driving me nuts.
I just got my new Dingoo and obviously want to transfer stuff from my pc like games,music etc.Problem is that when I connect it up to the usb port the pc just doesnt recognise it.The dingoo screen is black with the usb symbol in the middle.I then have to reset the bloody thing after I disconnect it as it freezes and cannot be switched off.I have tried about 20 times and its really pissing me off.To make matters worse there is a lazy green pixel on the top of the screen and the D-pad has a really loud squeek every time I press right.Very annoying!!!!
I have deleted a number of the inbuilt games to make more space such as all the 3d games and all the nes/fc games that where already on the system when it arrived.A few of the cps/neo geo games would not load in either so I have deleted them as well as some snes and md games.I hope I havn't deleted anything important by accidant that is required to link to the PC.
Also,it took me by surprise that there was already a large number of neogeo,fc/snes/md/gba/cps 1 and 2 games on it.As said I have deleted a large number of those that dont interest me and I want to build up my own collection.I didnt know it came with these games,can anyone confirm that this is normal (most are in chinese so I cant recognise the names until I try loading them in).
Not sure if the problem is common/fixable or do I need to send it back to China (bought from a reputible e-bay site).Please.please can someone put me out of my missery.PS....I am a complete and utter numpty when it comes to computers so need a nice easy solution if possible,

You need to do a reset but hold reset for about 45 secs then let go
It doesen`t work with the 45 sec......other solution?
Well aside from a shallow grave and a small mass prosession I would say box it up and contact the company you bought it from and ask for a replacement...
Hi, I have the same problem. I just bought it yesterday and received it today via priority mail even though I checked the standard shipping option. As soon as I received it, I plugged it to my computer and it just... froze. There's some kinda USB logo in the middle of the screen, I can't turn it off and the reset thing won't work.
This sounds like a huge scam so far. They didn't respect my method of shipping, so it cost me 30$ of hidden fees. All that for something that doesn't work, and they did write no-return in caps, meaning they knew it wasn't working properly yet still sold it.
Let me guess. Your OS is Windows Vista/7? I know my Windows 7 cannot detect mine either, but XP works fine.
If you don't have XP, download VMware or VirtualBox and use an XP image. That should detect the Dingoo. I can now charge/load stuff on my Dingoo via my XP desktop and Win7 laptop using XP image in VMware without any problems.
Windows 7 works perfectly fine with my Dingoo.
I had the same problem as soon as i got mine.... It worked perfectly fine until i tried to connect it to my laptop. Now it wont even bring up the usb icon on the screen and only stays black. The power cord doesnt even work for it.
