Ok well here is how it goes. I've got a micro to mini SD adapter with a SanDisk 16GB Class 2 Micro card. But the card has nothing to do with it. When I put even just the micro adapter into the system the screen turns black and when I pull it out sometimes the screen goes back on. Other times I have to press the reset button then flip the power to get the system to turn back on.

Anyone run into this before? I hope it's just my adapter and not my memory card slot.

I am having the same problem. Pretty much EXACTLY as DarakuTenshi described.
I have no idea ?
MY SD card worked for a liitle while, and then this started happening!

Does anyone have any ideas of what the solution could be?

Thanks

Please anyone I'm desperate to find the solution. I will have to send this thing back to China if I don't get an answer soon. And I really don't want to send it back to China.

Is there no one out there that really is technically minded that may have the know-how to tackle this problem?

Unfortunatly I don't have another one. I'm worried about buying anotherone since I've already spent over $100 for this one. I don't know wether to just send the Dingoo back or what to do. I don't think the out-of-box Dingoo is any good (except for the NES emulation). I'm going to miss my window to send it back so I think I just lost $200 on this venture.

I have the same issue and have tried two adaptors, both caused the Dingoo to turn off when I put it into the system.

Oh no I'm sorry ... I meant the Memory card was $100. I was thinking about ordering another adapter and trying it as well maybe a different brand. I just can't seem to understand what could even cause something like this. I don't think I'll send it back to China because I have no idea if I'll ever see it or my money again. I may just open the unit up and look over the solder points and see if maybe it was sloppy and is causing a short or something.
