yes I do like the clock idea and maybe a better way to control the volume maybe like flip the lock on dingoo and use d pad up and down to set it then unloack

How about a custom version of the new firmware v 1.1, this might correct the conflicts with the new md.sim as well as add new language defaults. Hopefully Team Dingo is working on this.
You guys above asking for new features on the firmware, dont realize the firmware source has not been released. And without that these upgrades you are asking for aren't likely to ever happen. Someone has to figure out how to code them in and the people with the source (Shenzhen dingoo digital, and gemei) aren't likely to care because the system works as is.
I did notice with the current version of the Custom Firmware it won't play *.JGC extentions rom for the GBA now if you have the current 1.1 newest version of the Factory firmware it does allow this. I haven't verified this finding yet as I changed to number format 1001.jgc to what ever the games name was plus the jgc extension. It would not run so maybe that is the issue but not sure will test more....

The teamdingoo firmware is not recompiled by me - i modified the stock one so we could customize the themes and get a better language support.
