I just got my Dingoo today, I have no problems getting my snes games to work, but it sounds like the sound is going "to fast" or something. Not realy sure how to describe it but that's the best I can do. Anyone know what the problem might be?

thats because the emulator isnt powerful enough, its just one of those things that you have to put up with unfortunately, dingux have a faster snes emulator, but the one you have really isnt that bad.

To me it seems like a syncing problem. Since the emulator doesn't run quite at the full frame rate, it has to drop frames, and as a result, the audio sounds like it skips to keep pace so that it can match with the action of the game. It is disappointing, especially since SNES in particular has a good variety of games with some of the best chiptunes ever, and I'm especially fond of a lot of the sound effects on it too.

Personally, I anticipated this before I bought my Dingoo, because I could hear the problem in action on a video demonstration I watched on ThinkGeek. Later, I finally decided to buy my Dingoo, fully aware that this would be an issue, reasoning that it was still worth the price, even it was nothing but a nice little pocket-sized NES emulator.

Even so, I keep hoping either the native emulator will be updated to fix the frame rate, or that a more capable SNES emulator will get ported to the native firmware.
