Hello,
I have a problemsto flash the custom firmware a320-1.03TD-1 to my dingoo.
I'd launch the Burning tool about flashutil.exe.
After installing the driver I choose "Burning System". But many years later NOTHING appears...
The Burning System and dingoo screen shows NO informatiion.

After closing the "Burning System" the tool created a "Root File" folder with a "System" and "Game" folder.
Now I had copy the Root Folder to the dingoo Root Folder.
I'm not sure if the Firmar has changed.
The "about.." information show the samer Firware version as before - V1.03.

And I've problems to use themes and I think the problem is the firmware flash.

It would be perfect if some could help me.
Thank you and sorry for my bad english.

Hmmm... there is no help for me.
I answer the questions:

  1. What's your OS?
    Vista Sp1
  2. Does your computer detect your dingoo when you put it in USB mode by holding B and resetting the device?
    Yes
  3. If it is detected, have you tried reinstalling the USB driver?
Yes, about the "Burning Tool" and "Install Driver" button.
  4. Are you using the white supplied USB cable?
I've the black dingoo and I'm using the original dingoo cable.

When I open the "Device Manager" under "USB Devices" I've found the following devices in german language (dingoo is connected):

- Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7-Familie) USB universeller Hostcontroller - 27C8
- Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7-Familie) USB universeller Hostcontroller - 27C9
- Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7-Familie) USB universeller Hostcontroller - 27CA
- Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7-Familie) USB universeller Hostcontroller - 27CB
- Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7-Familie) USB universeller Hostcontroller - 27CC
- USB-Massenspeichergerät
- USB-Root-Hub
- USB-Root-Hub
- USB-Root-Hub
- USB-Root-Hub
- USB-Root-Hub

Which one I've to reinstall?

Thank you
Smoky

You have not installed the USB driver. You can not isntall the USB driver by clicking on the "install driver" button in the flash tool. follow the installation procedure like this:
INSTALLING THE USB DRIVER IN WINDOWS VISTA:
1. Put the Dingoo a-320 is USB mode by pressing and holding the B button while inserting a pin or similar into the reset hole
2. Conect the USB cable between your computer and Dingoo
3. Now you need to install the windows USB driver for JZ4740 USB Boot device. Click "Locate and install driver software"
4. Click on "I don't have the disc. Show me other options"
5. Click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
6. Browse to where you extracted the files and choose "Next".
7. Accept the security warning by clicking "Install this driver software anyway"
8. The driver should now install and a final confirmation screen should pop up informing you that the driver was successfully installed as "Chinachip USB loader". Click "Close"

Sorry, where exactly I can find this: "Locate and install driver software"??
In the device seetings under "drive" I can see "China Chip PMP USBDISK USB Device"
When I try to reinstall the software Vista tells me the right software is already installed.

Thank you.

Then the driver is installed and should be working. Now run the flash tool as administrator ( right click and choose "run as administrator" ) and start flashing.

Now it runs!! You have to change point 1 and 2 into the readme.txt file to install the driver.

After I flashed the firmware, closed the "burning tool" and disconnected dingoo, I reconnected it and inserted a pin into the reset hole. A physical drive appears but when I try to select it Vista tells me to format the drive.

On the dingoo screen the dingoo-sign.

Should I do it? Or what should I do it?

Thank you!

Then you haven't flashed the image onto your dingoo. Try using another USB cable or if everything else faile, use another computer.
