Is a Sega Saturn emu possible?? Or 3do
I was wondering if a Sega Saturn emu is possible. It was 32 bit and the only draw back would be lack of buttons because i belive sega Saturn had a 6 butten controller.
Also is a 3do emu available i cant remeber if the 3do was 32 bit i think it was and i know that was a complete faliure but it would be nice to have some of thosse games.
Well it is 32 bit but im sure the coding would be killer. Thanks
No, the Sega Saturn is hard to emulate for some reason and requires CPU power and memory that the Dingoo doesn't have.
I belive it is hard to emulate because it uses 2 diffrent CPU's also the fact the polygons are in diamonds instead of triangles. Im guessing 3do would be hard. come to hink of it i havent even seen a 3do emu for PC..
bits isnt the only thing to look at, the Saturn has a weird time with the PC, and 3DO emulators exist on PC but have many flaws, and very little suport (like many of the fallen consoles of the 32 bit era) the Dingoo might be able to show it has 3D but that was because it was built off of the Dingoos hardware and not another console with diffrent programing.
Sega I believe had a system with their kind of 3D unlike all others, (hence why you can always tell its a sega game/ its on the dream cast) they look... well not the same its hard to explain
of all 3 engines (not counting the xbox360/ps3/wii) my favorite fast paced console has always been Dream Cas, it had an Arcade feeling to it..... Iwish there were a portable handheld to handle DC... pretty imposible... not sure yet if even the Pandora would handle it....
ayways *Seaga Saturn & 3DO = Nopes a Dingoo has no way in possibilities of hardware & software to handle it... if it ever does... trust me it would be around 1-5fps - the same as psx & n64 .... engines too advanced 4 a dingoo to be at the sufficient fps to be playable (and buttons control)
There will never be a usable Saturn emulator on the Dingoo A320. The saturn has multiple CPUs, and that's a very resource-intensive thing to emulate.
I'm pretty impressed with PSX4ALL I think that if that could be done with the A320 who knows what else is possible with Native OS or Dingux at this point
