Doesnt look ugly at all, looks closer to the real thing than the others psp ones do, and the screen is nice and big, its usually the speakers that let these things down.

I have one of the PMP players that looks like a PSP-2000.

They do emulate GBA and SNES - but it's very "hit or miss".  I'd say the percentage of games it can run well is only about 30% or so.

They do handle NES, GB original, GB Color, and Sega Genesis/Megadrive very well, though; close to 100%.

yeah, i'm guessing it will be identical inside. I played one too and was quite surprised by the high quality of some of the emulation. Utterly terrible speakers tho, and navigating the menus was extremely unresponsive.
