Dingoo A330 is real!
I just saw it on Ilovevideogames.com it went up for sale 2 weeks ago! It has a PSP design now. Oddest of all? A wireless dual shock controller (infact the same one i bought for my ps3) with dual (usless) analog sticks has been made that can be used to play games when in TV out mode.
Here it is the Dingoo A330: Mini Game King.

Buy it for the controller if anything, the buttons aren't that good and the A320 can run A330 firmware
That firmware comment doesn't matter at all. The current "A330 firmware" is just the A320 firmware with cosmetic differences, afaik.
I for one couldn't care less about the Dingoo's crappy TV-out and that stupid controller.
You should be more interested in the much nicer LCD, double RAM for Dingux (and perhaps native, if they ever update the firmware to use it), and comfortable shoulder buttons on the console itself. Unless you play on TV-out a lot...
Really though, the ram can't inprove the consle by that much, we all are painfully aware that each model doesn't even have enough buttons for any more advance emus, which is all I really care about. Most importantly, even with dingux, it'll still be extremly difficult to make any newer emus that will work, and even if people do, many are likey to work on the A320 :P
Well, we can now load larger files/games with the extra RAM. I know it doesn't really give too much of a performance boost. But it's still pretty useful. There will be new ports and things that will use that extra RAM, so they won't work on the A320.
But I don't understand why you'd say to buy the controller. It's kind of crappy. It's hardcoded in hardware to the existing buttons on the console itself, and can't be changed in software, afaik. Those sticks and extra shoulder buttons are useless.
Not really worth the money, if you ask me. But I never use TV-out, so of course I'd think that. :P I don't see why you wouldn't just use the console as the TV-out controller. I suppose there's the whole being too close to the TV issue. And Yeah, the A/B/X/Y are pretty crappy at first, but still playable. Mine are starting to break in a bit.
lol what is the point of this? everyone knows of the a330 it's been in the news for months!! XD and looks like I'm no tthe only one with a mario rpg character as my avvie on this here forum =P
The extra RAM could, I hope, be useful to MAME4ALL development in that it might enable loading of some of the "larger" ROMs that crash because of lack of memory.
As for the wireless controller, it's HUGELY useful to those of us who value TV-out. While I was hoping it would allow for N64 emulation, which it probably won't due to the hardcoding, it is still a huge boost to those of us who don't have many of the emulated home consoles or an extensive game library for home consoles we do have, not to mention home arcade cabinets.
Some people on this forum really need to cultivate the ability to see things from perspectives other than their own.
Whatever, I got my A320 right before the A330 annoucement and I don't have any problem running the games I want. So what if Marvel vs Capcom plays slowly? I can't speak for the entire community on the subject of RAM (once again, it's all I care about) personally, I'm not spending the cash on a consle inproved to that degree. There are things I'm still dissapointed with in the A330 anyway, am I the only one who wanted an analog stick or SDHC usage?
"Some people on this forum really need to cultivate the ability to see things from perspectives other than their own."
For some reason, I am very angered at this. As if you are the all seeing, all benevolent, all empathetic super guy who understands it all and always does everything right and who has got to correct everyone else? There's only one who is like that, and you sure as hell ain't him.
Don't act like you are better.
I'm sorry if that's how my last post came across. Seriously, that's not what I ment, I understand that many are excited about the new consle and I'm not rejecting others' opinions. Honestly, I got my A320 less than 2 months ago, shortly before the A330 was annonuced. So I'm knida sad that people will give up on the A320 topics eventually and start only talking about the A330. I personally will not buy the A330 except I am willing to listen to people who will/have. Plus, I'm kinda curious about the A330 firmware, even if it will stop working on the A320 eventually, I wanna know why it works now and if any A330 emus will work on the A320. In short, my past comments were byist (IDK how to spell) and I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

A bit behind, are we? It was announced about 40 days ago. There's threads for it on this forum, and especially www.dingoonity.org .
I have one. If you already have an A320, you probably shouldn't bother. It's not worth what they are asking for it, imo.
