Multiple Gemei x760+ issues

-Gameboy advance emulator's sound is extremely low even when it's set to 100. I heard about a similar error from someone else, is there something to do?
-After exiting the gba emulator the gemei invariably freezes. Any idea why that would happen? I'm using the dingoo gba emulator.
-The gemei doesnt have a Hold switch, is there a way to lock the keys?
-A few emulators, DOOENGINE and GNUBOY for instance, use start+select shortcut to get to the main menu, and there doesnt seem to be any other way. The gemei doesnt have these buttons so i can't access the menu?
I realize these problems pretty much constitute the penalty for getting a gemei instead of a dingoo, but if you can provide any helpful feedback anyway i'd appreciate it a ton!

K I resolved some of my problems, I found another gba emulator that works fine except for some reason I cant change the splash screen, even with that sweet LCP program, but that's a minor issue. I also renamed all of my gb roms to gbc so now they work with the gbc emulator, dont need gnuboy, and I figured out a workaround for my pce games so im good there too.
Remaning problem: No hold switch. What is there to do, if anything?
