G'day i just got my Dingoo today and i am wondering how to find the folders with the system files

mainly so i can get into the res folder and change my theme!

I have already converted some Neo-Geo roms i had and succesfully brought them across but i cannot find the system folder with the res folder that i am after, help.

Brand new with firmware 1.2.

Thanks.

You need to put your Dingoo into USB mode.

Hook your Dingoo to your computer. Hold down the "B" button and reset. Your computer should then try to install the ChinaChip drivers from your Dingoo. If ths is successful, your Dingoo will appear on your computer as an accessible drive, and when you browse it you should be able to find the res folder.

Note that this is not the same as simply plugging your Dingoo into your computer and browsing it. If you don't do the B-button reset, you won't see the res folder.

I have never had to use the procedure above. I just plug my dingoo in by usb and it comes up as a removable drive anyway!!

As for being able to see the res folder I thought you could only access the system folder and change themes if you have custom firmware installed!!

Until I changed my firmware to one of the custom ones that was the case for me.

Peace be with you Brothers.

I have tried your suggestion, but not good.

Is what the guy says down the bottom the case?

Does this need to have the flashed firmware?
