I've installed Dingux with Toddler's Local Pack v0.34 but I have a few questions. I've looked for a Dingux FAQ, but I only get FAQs related to installing.

-So far I don't see any benefit to running SNES games on SNES9X. The games play at their correct speed, but I can't get games that don't play on the native emulator to play on dingux (i.e.- Mario RPG, Kirby games). Am I doing something wrong? Is this where I have to overclock to 400?

-Doom and the other games supplied don't work. I've heard that this is because they don't have their WDM files. If this is the case, where do I get them and where do put it on the SD card?

-I've only been able to play DonPachi on FBA320, it recognizes several other MAME files I've put on it, but they don't load. Where do I get FBA320 games?

-There are a few emulators that don't have rom folders, does it matter where I put the roms for these ones?

-I can't get Gnuboy (game boy color emulator) to work and load roms. This is one of the emulators that doesn't have its own rom folder. Where do I put the roms? Does it matter?

-I assume only certain PSX games work with PSX4all, do I just download general PSX roms or do I need to download a specific rom type?

With SNES9x you can play the games at full speed even without overclocking nearly at all, if any, making the battery last ways longer than overclocking native and not playing with full speed still.

The games don't work because the hardware isn't compatible or something. They won't work even after Dingux, from what I've gathered. Doom etc. need WAD files instead of WDM files. You can find the WAD pack by googling doom wad pack dingux, but I decided to do even that for you:

http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=257946

Download the Shareware Wad Pack  from there.

I don't have any clue about MAME. What emulators are you pointing to that don't have rom folders?

In Dingux, it doesn't matter that much where you put the roms to - in most of the emulators when loading a rom you can just press left to go to the parent directory and navigate from there.

I got Gnuboy work on native just fine. I just put the .sim file(or whatever it was) into the GAME folder and then made a new folder called GBC for the roms for easy separation and then just by opening the game it.. worked=O

I haven't gotten any PSX roms work myself. I guess you could use a search engine for more help or just wait for some guy who knows more than me to respond.

Sorry for not being that familiar with Dingoo yet myself, but I hope I could help you with some of your problems.

Thanks for your help. I appreciate your time.

I think I wasn't clear enough on one, I don't have a problem downloading zip files without roms in them, the problem was that some of the emulators themselves didn't have a separate rom folder. I don't think it matters because it goes back to the issue of putting rom files where ever and just accessing them with the parent directory, I've been able to use this before with no problems.

I have Gnuboy on Dingux and it's not working there, but if it works for the native software I'll just move it. I already have a gameboy color emulator but the sound is horrible.

Still wondering about PSX too, but I'll keep searching.

Thanks again for your comments

Dunno if the Dingux GNUboy is different, but this is the one I have for the native and it runs flawlessly. Has a feature for saving with the left bumper and loading with the right, which I rather like.

Thanks for the post, earlier today I switched my SD card software to Santino's local pack v2 with gmenu2x and now the GBC emulator runs with no problems. It's probably the same emulator you have since this one has the shoulder button quick saves too. I'm guessing the other ones were just older outdated versions of gnuboy.

I sometimes press a shoulder button by accident, and if it's R, that can suck alot=/

There went my 40% MGS VR training progress once... MEH.
