There is a knock off Dingoo A330
I'm not sure if this has been brought up already but I actually created an account just to post this here.
There is a knock off of the Dingoo A330 and the genuine A330 has NOT been released for sale by Shenzhen Dingoo Digital Co., Ltd.

Nope. The released A330 isn't a "fake" or "knock off" or whatever the hell.
If you really care about this, read through all these threads. It'll take awhile.

The company split. Basically, Dingoo Digital only owns the old website and trademark. The new Dingoo Tech, who just put out the A330, is suppose to consist of most, if not all of the original developers of the original A320. The "real" site now is suppose to be www.dingoo.hk .
But BOTH companies are still apparently allowed to manufacture A320 units, it seems. China is weird. Who knows, I don't care. I have an A330, and it does what was advertised. I don't care who made it.

Of course I care about this and I'm sure others do as well. I simply wanted to post what I had found so that others could be protected from inferior junk. As I'm sure you are well aware China manufacturers tend to rip off just about anything they can get their reverse engineering hands on just to make that almighty yen yuan. I had no idea that this had been discussed in another forum somewhere else.
So if it's just a bunch of rumors then fine there just a bunch of rumors. But don't you think it will be amusing when the "two" companies start selling "two" separate A330's? We'll see when that happens if it ever does whom has the best unit and which is inferior junk.
Until that day comes I'm sticking with my A320 and holding my money. And I don't care if the A330 that's out right now works or not.

DT's A330 exists, and it's more or less the same quality you'll get with the A320 or other cheap Chinese gadgets (ie kinda crappy, in build quality anyway). Either you think it's better LCD, RAM, shoulder buttons, and wireless controller are worth it, or you don't.
Most of this talk doesn't make sense. If DD and it's currently non-existing team somehow end up making a better console, fine. I'll probably buy it. But that has absolutely nothing to do with DT or their recently released A330 console.
Also, China's currency isn't yen.

If this is the overall immature attitude of this community to attack others for being helpful then I'd rather not be a member.
Nor would I be inclined to share exactly what I have learned about my Dingoo and how to get the red/blue screen of death easily fixed without banging your head against a wall trying to follow all of the useless guides that are out there.
I do however realize that there are quite a few immature teenagers here hiding behind their keyboards with nothing better to do.
To tell you the truth it's all BS because unless you actually live in China or know someone whom lives with or works with the creators of the Dingoo you really don't know anything. You can't be serious that you believe everything you see on the net to begin with.

Mind to share your findings especially the fix for red/blue screen of death, beazleybub? Is it an alternate solution to Unauthorized red screen after flashing? Or is it something that requires you to shutdown the PC? (fixed my a320 once).
I don't like to engage in any conversation that might resort to an ad hominem typical stuff, but I want to share some info for those who haven't noticed it yet. Compare DT's Honor List to DD's News.
I wonder what's the fate of the 7 Days game (to those who care). I've emailed them asking for the "7 Days" fixes and a possible latest firmware. They said that there's a problem with the English firmware v1.3 and that's why they never produced one. After several emails exchange, they send me the Gemei's 7 Days official/full version (which I already completed myself). So far, I've played at least 7 different releases of that game (ranging from 3 Days to 7 Days edition), replay and switching languages between Chinese & English, find differences between releases and so on...
The thing is, the latest compiled on D888's site might include the 6 Days edition which mean... we're getting a latest English translation/version or at least it is playable up to Day 6 (and maybe contains a fix to some bugs especially the Map bugs on the 6th Day too). They did fixed some bugs in the prior releases. There's so much \day6\ references inside the app when I view it on a hex viewer. And I've been told that the latest app/sim released is supposed to be used on v1.3 of the firmware (language-dependent, from my understanding). I don't want to OoT about it any further (but it is indirectly affected).

The info about DD/DT comes from a trusted reseller. I'm not taking his word for it 100%, but his side of the story makes a lot more sense. If you read through those Rumor Mill threads you'll know what I mean. But mostly it's just a waste of time.
