How Long??
Gosh, I've had it with DX.
First they said they were backordered and estimate was christmas eve. The it was available, then again on backorder, backorder and finally now it says : TEMPORARILY SOLD OUT. If you know dealextreme like I do. Temporarily sold out means pretty much permamently or in a long, long time. So I cancelled it. That cancel button was disabled, so I had to contact staff. I don't know why, as it hasnt been shipped. I was thinking about getting something different because you know that feeling you get when you wait for something so long that it bores you? After watching some videos. There was a couple of things that made me want to buy it again.
1. Mother 3 English
2. Harvest Moon
3. PLaying games on my 46 inch TV.
4. Being able to test my hacked pokemon games portably.
So, after buying on the 21st of December, 2009. I am fed up with DX. I cancelled about 2 days ago and am waiting money. I will not be buying my dingoo from chinavasion until my money is back in my paypal. So, how long will it take? It has already been 48 hours. Chinavasion, some people have reported shipping in 3 days to Australia. So I am just so excited about this. In the end, can someone please tell me how long it took them for them to get a refund from DX. (Alot of people have done this) ANd lastly. CHinavasion gives export models, dont they?

EDIT: As soon as I posted this I got an email from DX. Informing me it was cancelled. I ordered one from chinavasion and they saiud it shuld take about 1 week. CANNOT WAITT!
I highly recommmend Think Geek. I got mine from them and it was in english, not to mention the B and Y button problem seemed to have been fixed. Plus fast shipping.
You're rolling the dice a bit with ThinkGeek. The first Dingoo I got from them worked perfectly, although the shoulder buttons broke (after fifteen minutes of use) and I had to return it; the second one I got from them wouldn't run any of the thrd-party native O/S emulators or apps, and the GBA emulator wouldn't play the Jungletac games.
I got Mine from Think geek, only problem is that if you press to hard on the Dpad its screen gets a ripple in the top left part of screen. other then that it works perfectly. I was actualy shocked at their shipping, I was debating wether i should have it shiped to my dad (he works actualy in the same city) and when the weekend comes he would bring it up I thought that might have been faster. But really they shipped in 3 days from when I ordered it normal shipping.
So Chinavasion sells export versions of the Dingoo? I was afraid to buy from them because I thought I'd end up getting a lower end one... But they're the only place with them still in stock. Quick! Should I order one from them?!
Soon everyone will be out of stock till Chinese New Year/Spring Festival is over best to wait and make sure... I would e-mail them and ask them what serial number the units have if they say an HK is at the end don't buy it...
Well, they sent me a confirmation message yesterday saying it was shipped and it was 3-6 days. I've already bought mine and it has been shipped. So if it is a hong kong model, i guess bad luck. But, I have asked several other people on forums and chinavasion does give export.
bought mine from chinavasion too, got delivered to the Netherlands within one week. and yes it was a export (pawed) version.
