I just got my A320 and I was planning for it to replace my old Ipod, but I don't think it's up to it yet :(. For one, there is no gapless playmode, there's always a pause between songs. What's worst of all is how it cuts a second from the beginning of each track! Does this happen to everyone? Is there any way to fix this?

Hopefully Dingoo will fix this soon with a firmware update or something.

I havent had too much trouble with the audio player. My only gripe is that it doesnt desplay the artist's name along with the song name, so if im listening to all my songs randomly i forget who sings what unless ive gotten the album memorized, which isnt the case for new albums. The gap between songs doesnt bother me. Everything I own that plays music does that. I have noticed sometimes it cuts out the first second of a song, and while it can be annoying, its not too bothersome and doesnt happen very often so i barely notice it. I have had the audio player crash on me more often than any other feature, though...

The 1 second cut off isn't with FLAC payback btw. Only with Mp3! Hopefully they will fix it with an update.

Same here with random crashes in the audio player. I was looking for an mp3 player when I stumbled on the dingoo so this is pretty bothersome. Had three crashes today, all while listening to tunes. Glad someone else has had the same experience, thought my dingoo might need returning but if you have also had crashes i'm ok thinking it's a software issue.

Just a thought, have your crashes occurred while playing audio in the normal menus after exiting the player? All mine have been while in the player itself....am testing now to see if I get less/no crashes.

Edit: Ok, had music playing for a couple of hours in the menu (not music player) and have had no crashes as of yet. Potentially the clunky spectral analyzer is causing problems or at least somthing else, rather than any audio decoding.

There is already MP3 support for linux so maybe you can use a linux mp3 player on the dingoo :)

I noticed the first second or so getting cut from songs too, at least I know I'm not the only one bothered by that. :)

More annoying than that is 'Shuffle mode' is glitched. I expect if I press the right arrow, the next song played will be randomly selected. What does the Dingoo do? It just plays the next song in the list, in order! The only way around this is to fast forward to the VERY END of the track, and then press next....at that point it shuffles the next song selected.

If there's a way around that glitch, I'd love to know.
