hello,

i've received my dingoo today. sadly the AC-adaptor is not compatible to the power plugs in our country. now the battery has drowned, and i wonder how i could recharge the dingoo. if i connect it via USB to my PC, the dingoo gets recognized as a memory and can be accessed via "My Computer". is the dingoo charging while doing this? how long does a full charge take, when charging via USB on the PC?

is there any faster way to charge? can i use every AC-to USB adaptor to charge it or are there some limitations?

It charges through the PC, it just doesn't show it.

I had the same problem, but was lucky enough to find my parents had a mini-USB that's got 3 prongs.

try 'ejecting' the dingoo from windows, but leave the cable connected, the dingoo's screen should now show a big icon of the battery charging - which should change when its fully charged.

also, try plugging it directlty into usb port on pc, not via a USB hub - mine wouldnt charge correctly until i did this (my hub obviously doesnt supply enough current to charge the dingoo)

hope this helps

Does the screen always stays on while recharging? It gets pretty hot.
