Bricked my new dingoo trying to install Dingux
Hi everyone, just bought my Dingoo 2 day ago and now is bricked, dont know what to do to revive it..hope anyone can help me! I tried to install Dingux following the standard instructions.so here is what I did:
-downloaded dual boot installer,
- changed my dingoo into usb mode
-when windows asked to install the new driver I chosed the dual boot folder and aparently the driver installed correctly.
-in run cmd I typed
usbtool-win 1 hwinit.bin 0×80000000
usbtool-win 1 zImage_dual_boot_installer_ILI9331 0×80600000
After this, my dingoo didnt reboot, so I did waht was told In case this happened, so I downloaded,and added to the folder 2 new files and typed this on cmd:
usbtool-win 1 hwinit_2_9331.bin 0×80000000
usbtool-win 1 zImage_dual_boot_installer_ILI9331 0×80600000
In cmd after typing the above a message appears saying: "Device not found, ensure your device is in USB boot mode..."
when I unplug and re-plug the usb, windows tells me that the dingo device is not recognized. so that is it. I cant reboot the dingo, what should I do, I apreciate any help you can offer,
i honestly dont know. just download the dualboot gui here: http://dingoowiki.com/index.php?title=DualBoot_Installer_GUI
then follow the instructions.

You must also look if you dingoo has the number "ILI9325" or "ILI9331”.
And you must use Windows XP, Vista is not working

just tried pressing the reset button for 10 sec. and that just made it. my dingoo is alive. anyone knows waht could have I done wrong on the dingux hack??
