Playstation on the Dingoo
I know that the Dingoo is a low budget console, but it is 3 years newer than the GP2X (F100). And it's processor is twice as fast (even though it's ram is half as fast). But the GP2X can emulate the Playstation (psx4all). So my question is, even if not for a while, why is it IMPOSSIBLE to emulate the Playstation?
its not impossible
The GP2X emulator probably software renders low-poly games, but both that and the Dingoo don't have a graphics accelerating chip so the only games it'd be able to run well are 2D games and maybe some of the Final Fantasy games because they're low-poly.
imo the real problem will be lack of buttons, r2 l2 r3 l3 and the joysticks

That actually shouldn't be that big of a problem. The original PSP controller had NO analog sticks (See http://www.axess.com/twilight/console/detail/psx.jpg ). The lack of two sets of trigger buttons is a bigger problem, but there weren't too many games that required both triggers, IIRC.
With ZodTT rumored to be playing around with the A320 maybe our hopes of seeing PSX run at all isnt so far fetched. Of course I have little doubt it would run much faster than the GP2x version to make the games any more playable. But from the GP2x scene ive seen alot of amazing things happen
Care to tell me what are the games that uses the shityy analog sticks and L2, R2 Buttons?

The GP PSone emu has been ported to Dingoo (psx4all). I think that a lot of games will not strart or play well (3D issues). Shall we post a list of working and non-working games here? I could not get to work:
- the ISO cd image of Syphon Filter

Someone will get around to it, I'm sure.
