Also posted on the I need help board

I got the A320 today, but I accidentally deleted all of the games already on it while trying to format it. Now I cannot place roms into the games section no matter what I do. I made an NES file, downloaded the proper roms, unzipped them, and pasted them into the games section under the NES file. When I turn it on, the NES file I created was there but all of the games under it are not shown, it says there are no files to be found.

When I kept looking I found the game roms to be under the browser section, but I can't copy them over to the interesting games section. When I deleted all of the original games did the emulators go to? I tried re downloading the default emus again, and the file shows up, but it doesn't do anything. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.

What do you mean when you say you tried to "format" your Dingoo?

If you mean "format" as in formatting a disc or a drive, I have no idea why you would even try to do that.

What exactly did you do?

Well I went too far ahead of myself and thought there needed to be something done to configure the thing with my computer, so I ended up doing what it said to do in the manual if the emulator wasn't reading things properly. I'm thinking of just sending it back and getting a new one. but I was also told I'd need to download all of the .sim files. Thanks to monumental stupidity it seems I wiped the whole thing clean.

The .sim files are what identify the rom extensions, so yeah, you need to get all those. Or Dingux. But not all the emulators are ported to Dingux since they work perfectly on native, or so I think=/

Just find and download the sim files and always back up.

Try installing the custom firmware that is available here:

http://rs476.rapidshare.com/files/303162579/CFW-1.20-pof.zip

It will restore all of the native OS emulators, and more.

You can find more info about it here:

http://www.dingoo-digital.com/downloads/firmwares/pof-has-built-new-official-dingoo-firmware-and-released-something-which

This firmware s running on my current Dingoo, which I bought from Dingoo Digital USA. Justin installs it on all of the units he sells (I won't buy a Dingoo from anyone else).
