N64 emulator
first, I have no idea how to make emus, second, I heard that the dingoo could not comprehend n64 games due to lack of button. I have devised a button map for dingoo64 picasaweb.google.com/emppenguin571/UntitledAlbum#5385159868874979714 I know it's not the good of an image but if anyone with the correct tools could please make an emulator for this I think we would all thank you
sigh... I thought someone would say that.. well I can keep my hopes up, there's still a slight possablity that they'll make firmware capable of it
I would settle for a Eboot emulator. I know we are 2 buttons short but it can't be that hard to work around. Hell I would settle for a 2600 emulator. LOL!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! the dingoo is capable of emulating the nintendo 64 at "full" frame rate becuase it has all the nesesary things to run homebrew(obviously) LOL Emulation draw's the polygons with software, not hardware, So it wont be nesesary to have a super video card...with 3d acceleration enable is more than enough which the dingoo has....The procesor of the dingoo and the ram are perfect for the nintendo 64 emulation...I have heard that the dingoo does not have a 3d acceleration...HAHAHAH if that were true games like 7 days could not run...and the PSX emulator, someone said that the emulator runs like at 3 FPS because of the lack in 3d...HA! the emulator just needs farther modification so it can run at full frames per second because a super hardware is NOT needed....I didnt knew all this time that i have been reading on the forums the members had such a low knowledge in emulation...People...dont post if you dont know what u are talking about...go to school so u can learn some or ask a programer...
Sorry for my tone but with you all saying "it will NEVER be possible" it pisses me ooff...lol
@Sightlight
Instead of pointing out all the flaws in your argument, I'm going to give you a chance to show everyone how much you know about coding by making a N64 emulator for Dingux.
Here's a project for an open source N64 emulator for Linux: http://n64dev.50megs.com/
Here's another one: http://mupen64.emulation64.com/
And here's the forum for the N64 emulator for the PSP, which, like the Dingoo, uses a MIPS processor: http://forums.daedalusx64.com/
Between these sources, you should have enough resources to code an emulator for the Dingoo "capable of emulating the nintendo 64 at "full" frame rate," as you said. Good luck!

Thanks but no thanks.I do not have a dingoo *yet* and i wont program for it anyway when i get it.I admit i am not a "expert" programer but i do know a lot of stuff. Also coding a (emulator) or (A game or app) are VERY very different things.Just ask things to a programer about my post....what he saids is my reply to you....
Your friend the programmer either lied to you, or misled you.
The Dingoo is a fine machine for emulating old 2D systems, but it hasn't got the raw computational horsepower to handle all the polygon calculations needed to emulate the N64.
dude ...go back to school if you drop off....
Dude?
You need to stop playing on your mommy's computer and let the big boys talk tech stuff.
Once again, I lol'd. Just a little.

It's not so much the button mapping which is the problem, but the hardware of the dingoo itself. The Dingoo does not have the graphical hardware to emulate N64 games. But I don't think it really has the processing power either.
I like your idea and if it was possible your button layout would most likely work for most N64 games on the Dingoo.
