This is great, but, is it it just me or does it run a LOT more slowly?  All tearing is definitely gone, but no game runs smoothly now.  I guess this still makes RPGs and such fully playable, but the Genesis/Megadrive has so much focus on action games...

Try using Frameskip 1, seems to be ok for me.

Well, frameskip 1 doesn't seem to work well for me either. It still feels slow, but with that it feels slow with extra frameskipping. Maybe it's my imagination somehow, I don't know. At least it's better than before.

Anyway, has anyone else tried this with a Dingoo bought from Dingoo-Digital-USA? When I tried it with it, it didn't work at all... I'm wondering if it may have something to do with the slightly modified firmware that came on it. Well, I'm also having a problem with the radio not working right (it seems to be defaulting back to China every time or something, so I have to set it back to US every time before using the radio or the frequencies are wrong) and don't like the backgrounds, so I may end up switching it to the official firmware anyway, but it would be nice to know for sure if there might be some other factor to be concerned about...

I really wish we could get a custom TeamDingoo version of 1.1 already. )-: I have to have my customizations (like custom fonts) that I just can't get with the official firmware.

Love Dingoo. Its feels like having my first PSP, with lots of Homebrews, DIYs, but cheaper. Its like customising your need.

Something happened. After i copied the "new" msd.sim file over to dingoo,  i did experience

1) Dingoo hangs at "Update finished " screen when unplug from Computer's USB.

2) After 2 days, when i power on my dingoo, The dingoo automatically did some "Firm upgrade or update" (can't remember the detail). I let it continue, once its finished, i tested all the emulated games.

Nothing is wrong, and somehow the screen freeze problem is gone too.

Have no ideal what is going on. The only thing i know about dingoo is "copy and Paste" trasfering of games. But thats the

reason why i like dingoo.... easy and simple, especially with the movies, need no conversion.

Currently self DIY a speaker project. Use to have a PSP, but lost it. So intending to use PSP'saccessories on Dingoo.

Will share experience once its done.

1. The lockup on updating is a common problem probably nearly everyone is experiencing (though at least one person commented that when he updated to the official 1.1 firmware it stopped doing this.) All you have to do is reset it each time you plug it into USB. It's annoying, but, at least it works. Actually, if I understand correctly, it's mostly the older Dingoos with the 9325 LCD controller that are doing this (but, then again, this could just be because all of the 9331s are using 1.1 already, lol.) Well, unfortunately, as I said, that white 9331 Dingoo I just got from Dingoo-Digital-USA doesn't work right with it either, so it may not be completely specific to the 9325s. (Though, unfortunately, the problem is much worse there since it won't accept the modified emulator at all.)

Nazo, have you overclocked your dingoo to 430mhz? I do it and the games that originally suffered video tearing but then suffered slow downs after installing this emu worked fine with frameskip set to 1-2 or auto even (auto tends to create the occasional glitch though).

Each time u do an update with the console it hangs.

so it does'nt work for me but i tried it and there are no tearing. its gone and the game plays smoothly.

Only problem it hangs each time an update is done.

Who ever created this fix thank you    I can actually play most of the games now instead of only a handful

BTW anyone eles have a sound problem (ie no sound during play) with Sonic 2 since using this fix? I can't remember if it had no sound before I tried this fix. One things for sure it looks alot better without all those annoying scan lines

You are right. My sonic 2 went silent. But there are too many games, some are fixed , some gets better, some has more problems.

I hope they fix FF6 or FF III, Sound and screen problem.
