Has anyone coded an alternitive SNES emu for the native OS?  Was hoping that maybe alecmaul or someone decided to do so in a mighty burst of ownage.

Secondly, is there an N64 emu for dingux? I know there isn't one for the native OS.

Thanks guys,

Nope nothing as of yet and most of the best developers have moved on Akemaul is taking a Break and so is Spiller and haven't heard from Harteexx for a while that leaves JoyRider and he has moved to Dingux... So nope nothing as of right now but hopefully soon....

It boggles my mind that requests pop up occaisonally for N64 emulation on the Dingoo. Setting aside any processing power issues, just look at the N64 controller: A D-pad, an analog joystck, two shoulder buttons, a trigger, a Start button, an A button, a B button, and a 4-button C-pad... I can't see an ergonomic, effective, or just plain enjoyable way to emulate that controller wth the Dingoo's available button set.  I have a bad enough time wth SNES and GBA games that requre heavy shoulder button use. ;)

Sure, it'd be awesome to play Jet Foprce Gemini on a Dingoo... but let's be realistic, here.

Oh, c'mon... there are emulators available for 18 different systems for the native OS, plus there are the Jungletac games and the "3D" apps. Install Dingux and you get MAME, PSX emulation, and more.

That's gotta count for something.

I bought my Dingoo for the emulators that already exist, not the ones I wish would exist. ;)

If third party native OS development flatlined tomorrow (and it pretty much has already), I'd still be happy with my Dingoo... and I don't even use Dingux yet.

Yeah, I know how ungrateful I must sound... don't get me wrong, I love the work the devs have done so far, it's just I really wanted to be able to play Starfox and Body Harvest.

Oh well. Can't have everything, I suppose.
