GBC freezing

I just recieved my dingo today and so far i am very pleased, the only problem i am having is with trying to play some old gbc games. I downloaded gnuboy, (i tried both versions) and so far whenver i click on a game the whole thing just freezes and I have to reset. Is there anyway to fix this? or am i missing something else i needed to install on it? Incase its relevent (or maybe someone can inform me if these games just don't work) the games i am trying to play are: Dragon Warrior 1+2, Dragon Warrior 3, Metal Gear Solid, Dragon Warrior Monsters, Pokemon Trading Card Game, and Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warriors. Thanks for any advice you can give.
For me, whenever I put on a New GBC game, it freezes the first time I try to load it, but then I just reset it and it works after that. Try that if you haven't already. Most people won't press a button twice after finding out it freezes the console the first time ;)
