I just finished Pokemon Fire red, and after i beat your rival, it plays credits then goes to the main menu (where it is possible to load a game), though it saves through states, not regular save! Therefore, after beating this guy, my game is over! is there any way that i can make it work on my computer so i can make it a "real" save so i can load it and continue??? Im desperate for anything! a program to run the states, or even a converter to convert it to a runnable save on one of my games!

HELP!!!!

This has been a common problem due to I believe the nature of the saves of these games (firered leaf green) try a Diff emulator
I heard that maybe No$GBA supports the FR LG saves but I dont know.

I tried NO$GBA, but when i go to load the states (file extension is ST then the state #), it just says that there is an error and it cannot load, but maybe im just doing it wrong...

I don't know much about save states but I've noticed with the native gba emulator that if you don't use save states and just save in-game, it works fine.

I think you may either need to replay the game that way, or hopefully someone who already has will upload a copy of their save file. Wish I could help more, but I'm halfway through Sappire atm...

Yeah i tried that but the problem is that when you try to save it in game it says "save error- exchange backup memory". lemme try a gba emulator for the a320 that isnt the native one tho to see if it works.

if it was possible to find a converter for the states to a different extensions, it would really help if it could be converted to NO$GBA format, because that actually creates a real save it can open.

I saw someone say that you should upload your save state onto your PC, config your emu for the 1mb save and then get past where you need to get past, and then save there, and  THEN transfer back and play THAT way.

RomanNoodles, I might be able to help you...

Do you still got the save states before fighting the last guy (Gary Oak), can you post it here?

I prefer the room before the final stage if you've got one?
