Emulators don't save game and state...

Hi, I've had my dingoo for about a week now and for some reason none of the Emulators I'm running

will save my game or state... Is it my dingoo?

Save the game, or save the state, then exit to the main menu. now shut it off.  it took me a week to figure that one out.
