Linux Dual Boot working, release this weekend
"Just a quick post to tell that dual boot is working now.
I'm not making a release right now, but I will most likely this weekend. The reason is that this is something people will be actually flashing in their console"

gui will surely come soon ;)
You don't know that. It's easy to say it will come someday, or maybe within a timeframe, but how long will we be without a GUI?
Just chill. We'll be without a gui for hours at most. Gmenu has already been shown to work & shouldn't require much more than a recompile & someone to package it up for general use. Not only that, but since someone already has it running they'll more than likely release it themselves once the dual-booter is released.
Creating some king of menu system will not be a problem as long as linux is running stable. We will see alot of applications becoming available as soon as the code is released. This is very exciting news.
Was this supposed to release this weekend or last? Didn't see any more news on it.

The thing that I'm worried about is the lack of menu system. If you read thoroughly, you will see that it does not come with any menu software that'd allow us to launch games and emulators. I'm sure this isn't such a big problem, but I don't want to have to boot my crap from a hacked up console.
