Is it worth it?
I saw A few videos on Dingoo Linux. Saw the SNES emulation. Thought it was pretty good.
My question is. Is Dingoo Linux worth putting in my dingoo. If so, is there some tutorials on how to (Dual boot way), and what if I wanna take Linux out, how would I go about doing that?
I'm pretty much the same as Jones, as I will be putting it onto my Dingoo, when my SD card arrives. I have no idea about linux, but I'm planning to make some games for it when I actually figure out how to get GCC lol.
Dingux is great scummvm, mame4all, hexen, + more. Totally worth it. Plus it so easy now, really it is
With all due respect to the zMan and his extensive Video Tutorial (I watched it too), it's no longer necessary. After loading the Dual-Boot loader onto your Dingoo, you can stop there, format your SDCard as FAT32 in windows, and then download one of the Pre-Fab file systems. Just extract and copy it to your FAT32 partition and reboot! No more multi-partitioning the drive. No more having to work out of Linux. Check here...

There is a video series on Youtube and this site (z-man) which seems pretty foolproof. We're talking 14 videos or so... I watched most of them last night to see if this was something I could do, and I am going to try it in a few days (when my SD mini card arrives.) I know next to nothing about Linux, and the videos convinced me that I could do this.
