My Dingoo is the black version with the ofw 1.03. When I check the lcd controller it shows this: LCM_MOUDLE_ILI9325. Considering this things I would like to know if I can install Dingux because I know that there are some problems with some consoles and I don't want to end bricking mine.

Excuse me if I made any written mistakes.

I'm asking because I've read somewhere that Dingux can't be installed on certain consoles that have the new LCD controller and this problem is more frequent on the black Dingoo.

Wel I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't even think you have the very latest model because all the new ones come with firmware 1.11. I got mine (black) 2 weeks ago and besides the 1.11 firmware it has the ILI9331 LCD controller.

It does :) I followed the idiot's guide,  the only thing I did differently is using the dingux-system and dual-boot-installer from here: http://code.google.com/p/dingoo-linux/downloads/list (the latest version can always be found here, the idiot's guide refers to an older one).

That's good news for me :). Thanks to all of you! One last question: if I get a brick it can be fixed with the unbricker tool, right?

I haven't managed to brick mine yet, but I've read many people who were able to restore their dingoo that way. The 'critical' part is when you get to installing the dual-boot installer. Note that you do not need the custom firmware (I am still using the original one on mine), just the dual-boot installer. Make sure the internal battery is fully charged and you are good to go!
