where do I start If I want to make a homebrew game

I realy enjoy playing homebrew game other people have made. I want to make some myself but im not sure where to start, as far what language to learn or if I need any Programs. If anyone has any tip that would be great.

You could build your homebrew upon AstroLander by flatmush:

This is what I'm using. You will need to know C programming.

We may consider writing a development guide if there's enough interest. The most important thing is to gauge Dingoo user interest in homebrew rather than emulation - so who's interested?

Hands up if you want to develop native homebrew apps for the Dingoo but were waiting for a tutorial or guide to guide you through more than just installing the SDK?

I'm totally interested!! I bought this system so that I could do some development for it. unfortunately, it's kinda overwelming as far as where to start on it.

Yeah!, thats exactly what I was looking for, theres alot of bits and peices out there, a guide would be great to jumpstart an active homebrew community. Thanks for the response.

A320 Free Forums has some tutorials and such on there website we will be posting links in our blog on where to download the SDK and the Tutorial

 If I'm not mistaken, it would be a perfectly viable solution to create a Flash game (in .SWF format, of course) on run it on an A320, would it not?

 

What we REALLY need is a Game Maker-style WYSIWYG drag & drop SDK; that would surely get the novices flocking to us in HORDES...
