Play .MKV e .MP4
Staff would like to know if you have a project to do the play dingoo A320. Mp4 and. Mkv because everyone is converting to these formats.
mp4 already works and mkv is for hd if im not mistaken, why put an hd file on the dingoo?
mp4 and mkv are only container formats. no codecs.
so mp4 works with dingoo when using an the mp4v codec. mkv don't work.
yah, there's gotta be an easy way to get mkv working. I wonder how hard it would be to update/add new codecs... probably not worth the trouble seeing as how close we are to linux. Once that gets up & running it'll be a cinche to get vlc up.
A codec won't cut it as .mkv files can hold more than one audio track, and can also hold non-hardcoded subs. The player would need to be able to switch between the two, which it can't.
with linux + vlc it can
i would greatly appreciate if dingoo were able to play mkv files. mos of the animes i download have this format, and it's so boring have to convert all the time.
@x_berzerker: this is also the most populair container in the anime scene ^^
But, will the dingoo (if it can play it) play it smoothly then?
MKV may be now, but it used to be all about RMVB...
I tried to play some MP4 movie trailers the A320 told me unknown format what does that mean I thought it played MP4 and MP5 formats

There are converters available that hardcode subs and language tracks into one file.
