Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles Theme

*** Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles Theme***
Explicitly for the Dingoo A320
Instructions:
Basically, after you've upgraded your dingoo's firmware to dingoo-digital's "a320-1.03TD-3" firmware,
Extract the contents of the zipped folder into the SYSTEM folder located on the Dingoo' hard drive.
A hard reset may be necessary for everything to show up. Then you're done!
I spent a lot of time creating this theme and along the way I created good, average, and bad images for
the theme. I only kept what I thought looked coherent with the rest of the theme. However, I have
included everything that I rendered to PNG and you are free to use any of it to customize the theme if you know
enough about how to do it.
To customize the theme:
If you don't like an image like a wallpaper or a USB screen, looking in the "EXTRAS!" folder and
copy and paste the image into the same folder of the image that you want to replace. Delete the one you
want to replace and rename the new image THE SAME NAME AS THE OLD ONE. Disconnect the USB and go in
and out of the menu and the image will have changed.
There are plenty of usable wallpapers to choose from so please use them.
If you like this theme, you can also check out my Super Mario Bros. 3 Theme that is also for download at
http://www.dingoo-digital.com/downloads/themes/super-mario-bros-3-theme.
This is probably the last theme I'll be making for a while, so enjoy! Though I don't really feel like
making a brand new theme, I'd love to come back and modify this one if you have any suggestions.

Just a question : Why is
Just a question :
Why is there more files in your theme than in the originals "res" folders ?
More specific?
Could you be a little more specific? Do you mean the folders other than the res folder or other files IN the res folder that aren't normally in there?
Sorry
Sorry I wasn't explicit enough.
I was talking about a b c d subfolders in the "res" folder. Those subfolders, in your Sonic theme, contain one or two additional files ("rev_icon" for example) which aren't in the original a b c d subfolders. Is this normal ?
And by the way, your Super Mario theme, on the contrary, contains less files than the original one. So if, for example, you replace the "a" folder with yours, as you mention in your installation instructions, some icons will be missing in that "new" a folder, won't they ? Therefore, is ther any chance of graphic issues after that ?
Anyway, great job indeed !
Didn't find any issues
I loaded the Mario theme onto my dingoo, then immediately replaced with the Sonic theme to find any discrepancies, but I didn't really find any. That rev_icon may just be a different colored status bar or something that is used with a certain program somewhere on the Dingoo, but I can't be sure. In actuality, there are many functions that I haven't tried, so I'm not 100% sure on what all the images are responsible for . . . if you find any differences in the interface, please let me know and I'll fix it. But I'm betting it's a very miniscule visual element if any at all. Thanks for the concern!
Oops . . .
I actually worked to avoid that issue for the exact reason you stated. Hmm . . . I must have missed a few images.
See, what happened was that I was testing other people's themes after I created the Mario one to get some ideas. I must have used one of those new ones as the template for this Sonic theme and that's where the extra image is coming from. I'll check it out and see if there are any weird cross-overs going on. Thanks for the tip!
Help
I can give you a little help if you want. Just a few minutes, and I'll tell you which are the "extra-files".
Here you are : folder a is OK ; folder b has an extra "rev-icon" file ; and folders c and d have both "rev-icon" and "load2" extra files.
All the other folders (audio, eq, extra, filetype, FM, mainface, pedometer, record and video) are OK.
And for your Super Mario theme, maybe must you just merge the files with those in the original a folder ? That way, only the files with same names as yours will be replaced, keeping safe the others and leaving the folder with the same number of files. I don't know if my explonations are clear to you, maybe my english has a little french touch !
See the problem, but don't think it will be a problem
I see where you're talking about, but I don't believe it will VISIBLY affect the interface, so it should be ok. BUT . . . if you believe I need to upload a new update without the extras, I can.
That's fine
No no, if it works no need to upload an update ! I'll test it as soon as I receive my own Dingoo (end of the week maybe...)
Sorry to insist, but did you see what I meant about Super Mario theme in my last post ?
Same with the Sonic theme
I actually re-installed the Mario theme FROM the Sonic theme and there was no visible change as far as I could see.
