New Edited Firmware a320-1.03TD-3
Dear Fellow Dingoo lovers, i have read opinions on this site on people wanting an improvement on the english of this magnificent gadget. I have taken the time to edit the custom firmware from dingoo. All you guys need to do is to download the files and read the read me text to flash the custom edited firmware that i have created on your dingoos.
I want to thank Chinavasion for the prompt shipment of this wonderful gadget and have learnt many things on editing from this wonderful website. I am from Singapore and most of the edited english is the Queens English from England for example like instead of favorite it is now favourite. and there are no more Music Hall and such, as most of the wordings have been simplified. Another example, i've changed blight time to 'light idle time" in the system setup because i have no idea what blight time means. If u guys do brick your dingoos which i hope you don't u just need to unbrick it.
I hope everyone is happy with the editing i have done. I will also like to thank the Dingoo staff. Im sure most of the creators of the Dingoo A320 are around this forum and though the Dingoo was created with not so good English orientation, they have made a wonderful gadget fully customizable meeting everyones needs and demands.

HELP!!!
My Dingoo is stuck on a screen with 3 smiling Dingoos, and I can't change it! It won't connect to the computer, it won't turn off, reseting does nothing, but the back ligth still turns off after a while. WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!
Auto Scan Radio Stations
After the update, I can not auto scan for radio stations.
I have copied the old FM.ini over to the root and the system folder, but Dingoo can not see it.
Any ideas?

FM Radio without any channels

I have the exact same problem. I love this new firmware, but I really want total functionality of the unit. Any fix you know of? It sucks knowing that the FM tuner is in there, useless.

Firmware update issue!!
Followed the steps and I still get the picture of 3 Dingoo characters laughing and it wont get passed that part. I can connect my dingoo and see the USB drive so I was able to replace the files in there but its still the same thing.
Does or has anyone gotten that image on the Dingoo?
How do I fix it?

System folder missing?
I had the same problem. Then i realised i forgot to put back the "system" folder and files to my Dingoos root folder. The "system" folder and files can be found in the package ("ROOT FILES" folder) you've downloaded here. After putting them back and a new reset all was fine for me.

No I have placed the system folder in the place and still get the same issue where it just stays frozen on the boot screen. All I really wanted was themes and ability to change the cpu speed. So I guess I will wait till the actual firmware gets better.

Boot image
Ok I found out that the boot image are not dingoos but jumping toasters. Anyways it still stays stuck on that. This really should not be an issue. Or if you release a firmware have troubleshooting answers. For now Im sticking with v1.1 as it is stable and dont want to break my dingoo.

You need to do an update
You need to do an update jukebox to get your dingoo to recognize them or just plug in your usb wait a couple minutes for it to sync then unplug again and it will update.

How long is it suppose to take?
I followed to step, how long is it suppose to take? and why are the line text in gibberish?

When I get the fourth line which is also gibberish words. I get an image tha loads of some Dingoo characters laughing and pointing. I reset and still the same thing.

Increasing the CPU Clock speed in the bios

Try to delete the md .sim file in your game folder and replace it with the original file.

i'm not sure if the theme is to blame or not, but when i flashed 2 dingoo's with this everytime usb is connected and disconnected the dingoo says update complete and then locksup on this screen. and i have to reset it , the rest seems to work fine

Oh the md sim. file is the edited one downloaded from this website right?
The one that says there will be an improvements and the tearing will be gone with the mega drive games.
That file when replaced in the dingoo hangs it every time there is an update with the custom firmware.
That file can only be used with v1.1 dingoo.

I've fixed. The modified Mega Drive (Genesis) emulator file was to blame. I've deleted it, done a reset to default settings and everythings working again. Strange.

Because as for me before upgrading my firmware to this edited one that i created, i formatted my sd card. I used to have dingux running on it too but i hardly used it. maybe that is the reason why i can play videos and games from my sd card now.

Strangely, the dingoo can't
Strangely, the dingoo can't see the roms on the SD card either. Only dingux can see them! I can only view the files in the dingoo browser, not in the "emulators" menu.

No i didn't forget. I copied the roms to my laptop, then back to the dingoo after flashing.
I can copy the roms to my SD card using the dingoo browser and they play in dingux, and they are all there when I view them in the dingoo browser.
It's very strange. I'll try and reflash.

Flashing problems using the Easy Method
If you already have A320-1.03TD-3 firmware on your dingoo and you want to change your Fireware to this by using the easy method ie:- By over writing the HXF file with this one, disconnecting your USB then pressing reset whilst pressing down on the D-Pad the firmware does not change as the dingoo thinks it is the same firmware.
To get it to work I had to overwrite the HXF file with my original firmware and also removing the system folder, disconnect the dingoo from USB, down and reset on the D-Pad to flash back to original firmware. Then repeat the process with the new HXF file and not forgetting your system file and it now works with all the spelling and name changes.

thanks for the edited firmware. I've flashed my dingoo and everything seems fine, but the dingoo can't see any roms. I can still see and run apps from the 3D folder, but none of my roms show up. I know that the upgrade will have wiped everything, and I have copied everything back to the dingoo.
Any ideas?
