Dingoo overclocking app

Unpack the RAR and put the files in your GAME/3D Folder on the Dingoo

There are various speeds 200/336/370/400/430.

The files need to be selected and run through the 3D Game menu and when you click and run it does not look as if anything has changed. Once you have clicked on the preferred speed, cancel out of 3D game and goto Interesting game and you should start to see a difference. I noticed a real difference on CPS2 and Neogeo so far, not got round to trying it out on everything yet though.

As with all these unofficial hacks - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Is something happening???

I copied the files over but running them doesn't seem to do anything. I see someone else asked about this but nobody answered: Do these apps pop up with a message or anything to let the user know they did anything? I pressed [A] and nothing happens. Anyone?

Battery time

Did someone try how long battery endures after different overclocking? I'm very curious about it. If noone did, I will try it and present it here.

does this still work on the

does this still work on the lateset firm ware? not the custom firmware.

clock it to 400MHz

Hi All

Is it possible to clock it to 400MHz so it runs all the time so you don't have to run it every time you turn it on?

Hmm, tried setting to 430 and

Hmm, tried setting to 430 and thought I perceived a difference, but then I tried setting it down to 200 and everything ran exactly the same so I'm not entirely sure this is working for me.

This may be a bit naive

now this may be silly but i am running v 1.10 and cannot get this to work, I transferred all of the the files into the 3D folder including the folder labeled source, what am I doing wrong?

Only works when charging from the wall

Why does it only work when it's charging from the wall....?

Anyone else have this issue?

The greatest console to ever have lived.  The Mighty NEO-GEO!

How do you turn off the

How do you turn off the overclocking once its been set?

turns off when you exit

turns off when you exit from an emulator

it runs fine on the standard firmware

Overclocking

It does seem to be working depending on what you overlock for

so you can also underclock it

so you can also underclock it to get longer battery life while for example listening mp3, play nes ?

does anyone tested that ?

Black Dingoo A-320 (SOON)

Does this work with the A-320 v1.1 firmware?

I just got my A-320, and downloaded this to get my SNES games running better. II did everything you said to do, but I'm getting nothing noticable. Do I need custom firmware to run it?

 I tested each overclocking

I tested each overclocking app with Final Fantasy IV on v1.1 firmware with no luck.

I switched back to v1.03 firmware, repeated, and still no luck.

Well, the game runs fine, but the audio cuts in and out.  Sounds like it's too much to process.

help?

HI IM NOT SURE IF I GOT THIS WORKING
have pasted the files and they appear in the 3d games folder
wen i run them nothing seems to happen does this mean that it is running but at faster clock speed or am i doing something wrong in executing the files
ie does it display clock speed after you have run each app?

Thanx!

Working fine thanx... But one question; what's the default clock of the dingoo?

Anyone have try it?

Well, the overclock it's a lil bit dangerous...anche the "use at your own risk" make me thinking
Anyone have this app instelled?
It's all ok at now?

Yeah it's working fine.

Yeah it's working fine.

Perfect :) And you what speed

Perfect :)
And you what speed are using from 200/336/370/400/430?

I have been using this for a

I have been using this for a few weeks now and have had no problems with the Dingoo.
I normally have mine set at 430.    On this speed it actually runs things very well and can give a much needed speed boost in lots of games.    The only emu I dont use it on is the GBA/NES as they dont really need any help.    If anything they run too fast with it on.

This does really improve

This does really improve SNES emulation.   Gotta agree with the above posts,  Any recommedations for usage time , just a bit worried incase it frys the chipset?

 I'm also worried about

I'm also worried about frying the chipset

any suggestion about usage and time??ç

thanks

nah the chip in the dingoo

nah the chip in the dingoo is rated for 400mhz it's underclocked by default to make the battery last longer, been using mine on 430mhz for a month or two with no problems.
