It could be

I never thought that it could be the OS... Now that I think about it, this isn't the first time I have had problems with Windows Vista HP. Linux Ubuntu 11.10 didn't work either. I'll try it with an old Mac and post the results.

Every time

Every time I try to follow these instructions, it doesn't work. I get caught on the part where you plug the dingoo in to the computer and it comes up with a popup window. It can never find the dingoo after I plug it in, no matter what i try.

Didya try...

Did ya try holding B while resetting it to force the unit into usb mode? It could also be youre pc operating system wont read the dingoo because of driver problems usually with windows 7 or other newer os's. Try it on another computer unless youre good with sci-fi style hacking to replace pc drivers and all that madness...

Blue Screen on The Dingoo A320 <<Unauthorized chinachip.cn>>

Hello people, thanx for being here.

Please people, I really need your help. So my Dingoo A320 is, what I think, messed up, but hopefully it's not. Here's what happened. I was using my Dingoo A320 you know normally. So then I tried to turning on my Dingoo A320 and a blue screen appears and says "Unauthorized", then something about chinachip.cn. So I'm thinking something like, "okay, maybe you need to get it authorized for you to use your Dingoo A320". I check out chinachip.cn thinking that all you need to do is do something like register your Dingoo A320, but turns out if I remember correctly, that the web site is in Chinese or something. Also when I first took out my Dingoo A320 out of the box and tried to turn it on, the same blue screen appeared, but I reseted it and it worked fine. Sometimes the blue screen would appear and I would just keep on reseting it untill it worked properly, but after a while I would keep on reseting it and reseting it to use the Dingoo A320 normally, but the blue screen just kept on coming out. So please help me how do I get rid of this blue screen and use my Dingoo A320 normally as in to play video games and such things as those? Please help me! I saw this one video here on how to fix bricked Dingoo A320's and Unbrick the Dingoo A320 or whatever, and well forgive me if this is rude, but I didn't understand what the heck was going on in the video. I followed his steps, and what he would do, wouldn't come out on my screen. As if though he doesn't explain a certain process that needs to be done in order for you to unbrick the Dingoo A320 successfully. Please people I would really appreciate your help. Please help me! Please!

This video is missing important steps

Please SOMBODY change this page to link to the firmware page instead of these old un-brick utilities!

This is a good video, but it is missing some file copy steps, and uses software that is mostly in chinese.  A much improved README file is included with the much improved english un-brick and update utility.  Don't take my word for it, watch the video, then go to the firmware section of this website and grab the COMPLETE update utility and read the unbrick readme file.  You will have an almost completely english version of the software that comes with this download, and two versions that work with two different LCD setups.  If you got the white screen with the stripes, you have the newer A320 LCD with the old LCD drivers.  This page will send you to the unbrick utility and the new unbrick utility.  The new one has the new LCD driver and is completely in Chinese.  Go to the firmware section now and skip this download.
