Should have, But doesn't

I think the reset button and power button should definitly come standed, nic job/.

Emulators and Ubuntu, together as one.

Thanks!

Peter,

It is people like you that make me glad I got a Dingoo.  This comunity is awsome.

Thanks for demonstrating this mod.  I just did performed it on my new dingoo with a screw from an eye glasses kit.  I just had to chop down the end with a wire cutter and sanded down both ends with fine grit sand-paper.

I'm a little jellous of your power button and its advatages though.  I'm sure several others and I would love to see instructions on how to build one for ourselves.

Thanks,

Jon

P.S. Have you found a non permanent way to stick on your D-pad mod that allows for its removal if the front panal must be taken off?  I have a Belkin n52te computer controller that has a removable thumb stick that goes on its D-pad.  It is inserted into a cross shaped hole in the center of the pad.  I was thinking maybe a hole could be drilled in each end of the the dingoo's d-pad and pegs could be lined up and perminetly attached to the custom pad's bottom to allow it to be slipped on or off.  I have not been on that side of the inside of the dingoo, do you think there is a way to reliably remove the just the D-pad to work on it and drill holes?

Nothing quite feels like having a good chunk of my childhood in my pocket...

Just added a button to my Dingoo. I was a bit freaked out by cracking it open at first, but it really wasn't that difficult. Just remember that the inside button is not that far from the wall of the encasement. You'll want to make sure the head or the screw or nail is nice and thin. I gave my button just enough length that you can't push it by accident. Works like a charm!

Thanks!

Nice work on the eye-opener into Dingoo modding! I modded my reset button as I ended up needing to press the reset a lot while in Dingux. Now it is easy peasy without a paperclip, so thanks! :)

Did you know you could simply

Did you know you could simply write the steps out in order with included pictures/diagrams instead of whoring YouTube?  That way all the information is static on the page, and we can read through it at our own pace instead of having to keep pausing and playing a video of a person talking.

26 letters.  Object, action, subject.  Nouns and verbs.  Simple.

Remember:  You are responsible for your advice.

Just modded my A-320!

I remembered this mod here at work just now and went sorting through a collection of spare tiny screws that we've collected over the years.

Lo and behold there's a flat-topped screw that was the right size and length RIGHT OFF THE BAT!

Needless to say I had it installed in minutes and had to rush here to share my glee!

Thanks again for the inspiration!

Only problem is that you

Only problem is that you didn't really explain what to do after you've made the screw or whatever.

Sorry

Sorry I didn’t explain in my video, that after when you done making a button, you have to put it in reset hole from inside, and then you can assembled your Dingoo, and now you got a fully functional reset button

Cool, thanks. But, is there

Cool, thanks. But, is there any way to make a reset button without popping the back of the system off?

great !

Now I don't have to take pictures to show how I did mine with the nail a while ago.
